Sheepfold

2013 saw the official opening of the new sheepfold of the Holtinge flock. The fold is a combination of the old Drenthe atmosphere with a state-of-the-art furnishing. Every day the shepherd will take the flock into the fields. The times of departure and arrival vary per season. The information sign at the sheepfold gives the location of flock on that specific day. In and around the sheepfold, The Holtinger Schaapskudde foundation organises special events on a regular basis. For instance, there regularly are expositions in the lamb pen.
